The ICO has launched a new dedicated advice line to help small organisations prepare for the new GDPR law which comes into place on the 25th May 2018.

The GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) will strengthen the rules around personal data and will make organisations more accountable for data loss. The phone service is aimed at small businesses or charities and helping them prepare for the GDPR. You can find a link to the ICOs website below with more information.

Indvidiuals from small organisations can dial 0303 123 1113 to be directed to staff who can offer support. As well as advice on preparing for GDPR, callers can ask questions about the current data protection rules regulated by the ICO.
