Troy Midwood

Chief Executive Officer

Troy gives advice and guidance to ambitious and growing businesses on technology - how it can be used to drive productivity and reduce risk.

Troy's technical background means he understands technology, and his keen interest in business gives him a valuable commercial perspective.

During his time at Aabyss, Troy has delivered lasting change and improvements for local and national businesses, both privately owned and publicly listed, and while this is still an important part of this role, he now spends more of his time supporting a team of great people who can continue delivering these results into the future.

Away from Aabyss, Troy enjoys the challenge of hiking technical routes, bivvying, and outdoor pursuits.

Andrew Allen

Chairman

Andrew is responsible for ensuring Aabyss stays true to our purpose and values every single day.

In a strategic capacity, he is also responsible for developing relationships with key partners and major accounts. He loves working with ambitious, growing companies who want to challenge themselves and the status quo.

Technology, when properly leveraged, can help an organisation differentiate and beat their competition. It's a real joy to make a difference. Andrew is an active Rotarian, helping support local and international charities.

As a former member of Mountain Rescue, he enjoys spending time with his family in the mountains. He regularly travels to experience new cultures and cuisine; he’s a bit of a foodie!

Chief Financial Officer

Stacey’s financial knowledge, skills and dedication has supported continuous improvement and growth for Aabyss.  

Stacey has led an impressive and varied career in her 10-plus years working in the Liverpool City Region. In her current role as Chief Financial Officer, Stacey is responsible for P&L and all aspects of finances at Aabyss, ensuring that financial harmony is achieved. In doing so, Stacey has helped Aabyss grow and improve through her commitment to this role.  

As a valued member of the Aabyss leadership team, she supports and cares for the employee experience and company values, believing that a happy team is a team that will support each other and work as one.

She loves spending time with her family and friends in her spare time.

Chief Revenue Officer

Robert brings experience and leadership to Aabyss. His pedigree for increasing business revenue speaks for itself.

Working with the sales and marketing teams at Aabyss, Robert seeks new ways to add value to what we do for our clients, and is responisble for growing our clientbase.

In his spare time, Robert enjoys sports, music, family time and getting lost in the hills near where he lives, as well as those further away.

Intrim Chief Financial Officer

Nick is an award-winning Finance Director with nearly 20 years of experience in finance.

Having come from outside the IT industry, he is using his experience in running a £70 million turnover manufacturing business in his new environment. 

IT is not new to Nick as he ran the IT deployment in his previous role. The increased security and knowledge provided by Aabyss, however, have been eye-opening and have made him wonder how his previous companies were not compromised.

Away from Aabyss, Nick is an avid sports fan, enjoying the NFL and the Pittsburgh Steelers, as well as hiking and Music festivals.

Service Desk Manager

Carl is the Aabyss IT Service Desk Manager and is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the IT service desk, ensuring efficient and effective support for end-users.

This role involves managing a team of service desk engineers, implementing best practices, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

The IT Service Desk Manager plays a crucial role in helping Aabyss run smoothly by ensuring the timely resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement of service delivery processes.


In his spare time, Carl enjoys spending time with his family and watching football with his dad and his friends.

Lewis Green

Technical Services Manager

Lewis is responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of an organisation’s IT infrastructure. 

This role involves managing a team of IT professionals, ensuring the stability and security of IT systems, and implementing new technologies to support business objectives. The Technical Services  Manager plays a vital role in helping Aabyss run smoothly by ensuring robust and reliable IT services.

Lewis brings a wealth of knowledge to Aabyss; he has been with Aabyss for over 5 years.

Lewis enjoys spending his free time walking his dogs and listening to music outside of work.

He is also passionate about expanding his knowledge across a wide range of topics, from history and technology to behavioural science. Whether through reading or listening to podcasts, Lewis is constantly exploring new ideas and insights.

Aaron Hayes

Head of Marketing & Public Relations

Aaron brings over 15 years of international marketing experience to Aabyss. 

He is a multi-award-winning chartered marketer and holds a fellow grade with the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a membership of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. 

Aaron is also an adventure training instructor and can be found in the Lake District National Park most weekends, instructing groups or enjoying breathtaking scenery.

As an experienced IT Client Success Manager, Zoe fosters strong client relationships and ensures the successful implementation and adoption of IT solutions. 

With a background in technical support and customer service, Zoe bridges the gap between clients and technical teams, driving satisfaction and long-term success.

Known for her proactive approach and excellent communication skills, Zoe is dedicated to understanding client needs and delivering tailored solutions that enhance business operations.
